Say Rimini and SMILE!

Gran Premio Nuvolari 2022

The 32nd Gran Premio Nuvolari will take place from 16 to 18 September 2022. The second stage will see departure and arrival in Rimini on 18 September, and always from Rimini the departure of the third and last stage is scheduled.

A bit of history
To honor the memory of Tazio Nuvolari, the organizers of the race “Mille Miglia”, in the fifties, modified the traditional route so as to pass through Mantua. Since then, the Gran Premio Nuvolari was established, to be allocated to the fastest driver and then to be disputed on the long straights of the Po Valley. Starting from Cremona and passing through Mantua, up to the finish line in Brescia.
In addition to the four historical editions held from 1954 to 1957 and wanted by the organizers of the Mille Miglia, to date there have been 30 re-enactments of the Gran Premio Nuvolari, the formula, international regularity reserved for historical cars.
Since 1991, the founding members of the Mantua Races have continued in the same work handed down by the legendary founders of the Mille Miglia. The goal is the same: to allow the drivers of the new generations to try their hand at the cars that wrote the history of those days, paying tribute to the greatest, the most daring of their predecessors: the legendary Tazio Nuvolari.
