Say Rimini and SMILE!
Peter Pan in Kensington Gardens is a majestic show of lights, music, colours and flying choreographies in the marvellous setting of the new Piazza Malatesta, which will transform the exterior of the Fellini Museum into a place where people can dream of an eternal present with a great event dedicated to children and adults who do not want to grow up. The green spaces will become Kensington Gardens; the pools of water will turn into the gardens’ lake, the Serpentine, where adults’ boats will sail and sailing ships will cross the sky. The Tower will become an island, the Isle of Birds.
The show will use the new square as a backdrop: images will be projected onto the fortress and scenes of fascinating and magical vertical dancing will take place; large images will be projected onto the theatre. “The forest of names” will be the setting dedicated to the fairies, while in the background there will be video projections illustrating the tale to the public.
From the end of July to mid-August, a show full of flying choreography, images, music and words will bring magic and wonder to the Piazza dei Sogni. The show will be staged by FestiGroup and directed by Monica Maimone.
