Shopping in Rimini: boutique, historical shops and bookshops

In thecity centre we will find many shops, boutiques and historic workshops for a quality shopping experience. At Sabattini Boutique, a luxury concept store since 1967, depending on the purchase we will be offered an aperitif or dinner in one of Rimini’s exclusive venues. A short distance away we will find Sabattini Outlet, which offers the best Italian-made brands.
On our shopping trip to Rimini we will also come across Galassi Uomo, a reference point for men’s elegance in the heart of the historic centre since 1922. At Taddei Casalinghi e Mondani, in Rimini since 1990, we will find everything we need to be happy in the kitchen and at the table.

For children and young people from 0 to 16 years of age, on the other hand, the reference point is Libreria dei Ciliegi 17 with lots of ideas for reading and culture for children and young people.

Occasions for beauty & wellness

When shopping in Rimini, you cannot miss a stop to pamper yourself with beauty and wellness proposals. In the delightful Borgo San Giuliano we find Barfum, the first “express beauty bar” with olfactory paths and perfume courses.

Rimini Style Card allows us to have advantageous offers on some wellness services at RiminiTerme, directly overlooking Miramare beach. We will find evocative sea-view rooms, the salt room, the biomarine pool, and spa courses.

Food and drink offers in the city center

Shopping in Rimini is also a gluttonous journey through food and drink to discover authentic flavours, typical dishes to enjoy at the table and take home. We begin at the gates of the historic centre: just before the Augustus Arch we can stop at the Osteria Tiresia, which offers a Rimini menu of traditional recipes and local wines. Among the things to do in Rimini in the historic centre is a visit to the Dallo Zio restaurant, which offers a menu of typical local cuisine, fish or meat, in an original 1960s Rimini-style setting.

For an informal break or a drink, again in the centre at Yerbabuena we can enjoy grilled meats, gourmet burgers, a selection of spirits, beers and wines.
And if we get the urge for a tasty pizza by the slice while strolling around looking at the shop windows, there is the Pizzeria del Secolo not far away. Since 1954 it has been churning out over fifteen different flavours of stuffed pizzas. We can also stop by Nostrano to buy local products, wines and craft beers.

Borgo San Giuliano a Rimini

Borgo San Giuliano: typical food and wine

We continue our shopping trip to Rimini in the picturesque Borgo San Giuliano. For us discount card holders there are many typical restaurants to discover with special price menus. Immediately after the thousand-year-old Tiberius Bridge, the trattoria La Marianna awaits us, offering traditional Rimini fish dishes for over 100 years. Next door, the Nud & Crud restaurant presents handmade piadas made with local flours and freshly cooked in the open kitchen.

In the alleyways, Osteria De Borg prepares first courses with rolling pin and homemade desserts with top-quality local products. And for a Rimini-style aperitif, Biberius is the ideal spot for a break.
We cannot leave Borgo San Giuliano without passing by the Latteria del Borgo, where we will find a selection of typical local products and a rich selection of preserves made in Romagna. While at Pasta Così (Amati Conserve) we can buy fresh pasta, products, preserves and jams from local agriculture.

Shopping in Marina Centro

The Rimini shopping itinerary continues of course in Marina Centro, all year round. The most authentic Romagna can be found at Amarcord La Romagna, a shop selling traditional local products, food and wine and handicrafts. The Sabbioni restaurant has been a guarantee since 1950, a perfect combination of ancient Romagna recipes and Mediterranean cuisine. Amerigo Restaurant’s ‘secret ingredients’ include homemade pasta made according to tradition and high quality, strictly seasonal ingredients. The Amorimini restaurant overlooks the beautiful Sea Park and offers a menu of the most typical local meat and fish dishes.

There is an informal atmosphere at Sbionta, where everything is freshly made: piadine, cassoni, first courses, stuffed sandwiches and homemade desserts. If we want to breathe in the atmosphere of an English pub, the Rose&Crown awaits, open since 1964 and famous for the quality of its eleven beers on tap. For breakfast, an aperitif and, of course, a good coffee to sip in Marina Centro there is the Caffè Pascucci Shop, which has always been a meeting point with excellent roastery products. Just across the street is the gelateria Amareina, where you can enjoy fresh homemade ice cream. Moving towards the harbour we find the Il Circolino restaurant, a place with many souls where we can stop from breakfast time until the evening and let the sea breeze caress us.

From the Darsena to Viserbella

In the Darsena area, we make a stop at the Paradiso Caffè, a historic café in San Giuliano Mare, a reference point for many of the people of Rimini and beyond. Continuing our walk towards the quiet areas of Viserba and Viserbella, the fragrance of freshly baked brioches will lead us straight to Pasticceria Novecento for the delight of the palate. On the Viserba seafront there is a shop whose name, Vedi mò, che Romagna, already reveals itself to be a welcoming place for small local artisans, offering a wide range of quality typical products. At Sapori di Quartiere (Neighbourhood Flavours) in Viserbella a journey to discover local culture and gastronomy awaits us to get to know this wonderful area up close.

Piadina and wines not to be missed

You cannot think of Rimini without thinking of piada romagnola and the sea. Along the Parco del Mare, here is where to taste it with the Rimini Style Card. Hot, fragrant and with many fillings at La Piada di Amerigo, a stone’s throw from the beach in Piazza Marvelli. Traditional and innovative in one of the many piada and cassoni spots at Dalla Lella, the piadina par excellence since 1986: we find it at the historic Dalla Lella via Rimembranze, at Piada e Cassoni dalla Lella via Covignano and Lella al mare.

Occasions even in the hills

As we have seen in Rimini, we can walk and shop along the sea or in the ancient heart of the city, but also in the gentle hills that surround it. Upon reservation we can visit the Podere dell’Angelo, 15 hectares of vineyards and olive groves, a family-run organic farm since 1923. After tasting the extra virgin olive oil and Sangiovese and Rebola wines, the pride and joy of the Romagna Riviera, in the small wine cellar shop we buy the products and take home the authentic flavour of Romagna.

Just outside the town, and accessible directly by bus, is the Vini San Valentino winery, which cultivates 17 hectares of vineyards, including Sangiovese and Rebola, but also Cabernet Franc, Syrah, and Merlot. We can visit it and buy its best labels directly.
